One of the most embarrassing personal health problem is bad breath. Bad breath can be also called as Halitosis. With proper oral hygiene this could be reduced or even eliminated. There are lots of possible bad breath causes. Some of these are listed and discussed below.
Bad Breath Causes – Foods
We have to bare in mind that the foods we are taking into our body through our mouth could also be one of the causes of bad breath. After we break these foods into peaces it will then be passed to our stomach for further process and eventually carried to our lungs. The odor could be taken out the time we breath. Foods that have strong odor can cause bad breath. Although we could brush and floss our teeth the odor will not be totally eliminated unless the food are excreted through our anus. Examples of strong odored foods are garlic and onion.
Bad Breath Causes – Poor Habits
One of the most common reasons or causes of bad breath is poor habit. When you dont brush your teeth, you are giving space for the bacteria to propagate. Bacteria then grows between the gums, on teeth and even on your tongue.
Smoking can also cause bad breath. Have you smelled the breath of a smoker? Thats the effect of the cigarretes.
